Interviews for admission to MA in Media Business Studies and MA in Strategic Communication are scheduled on 23, 26, 27, 28 and 29 June 2025. Interviews will be held both offline at the IIMC New Delhi campus and online. The interview timetable with candidate details is published on the IIMC website – iimc.gov.in.

IIMC admissions for 2025 will use CUET PG (Common University Entrance Test - PG). The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the CUET PG 2025 application form for IIMC on 26 December 2023. Candidates could submit their CUET PG 2025 application until 24 January 2025. Admit cards were available to download from cuet.nta.nic.in starting 7 March 2025. Note: the entrance test for regional language PG Diploma courses in Journalism (Odia, Marathi, Malayalam and Urdu) is conducted separately.

Brief overview of the CUET PG 2025 exam pattern: the test is computer-based (CBT) and will run in three shifts. Each candidate will face 75 questions to be completed in 105 minutes. The question paper medium will be English and Hindi for most papers, except for specific language, M.Tech, Acharya papers and some subject papers.

Except for M.Tech, language and Sahitya papers, CUET PG is offered bilingually in English and Hindi. Candidates may choose up to four question paper codes. Scoring is +4 for each correct answer, 0 for unattempted questions, and -1 for each incorrect response.

For IIMC 2025, applicants are expected to hold a four-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution. For PG Regional Diploma Courses in Journalism, the age limit for General category candidates is a maximum of 25 years (born on or after 1 August 1999). OBC candidates have a maximum age limit of 28 years, and SC/ST/PwD candidates have a maximum age limit of 30 years as of 1 August 2025.

CUET PG 2025 results relevant for IIMC are expected in April 2025. Qualified candidates must register on the IIMC portal at https://iimc.admissions.nic.in for counselling. CUET PG cut-off marks for IIMC admission will be published on the official website after results are announced; cut-offs depend on factors such as number of candidates, exam difficulty and seat availability. You can also review previous-year merit lists for regional language courses.
