The JCECE 2025 is a state-level entrance test organized by JCECEB for admission into first-year degree programmes such as B.Sc. (Hons) Horticulture, B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering), B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.F.Sc., B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture and B.Sc. (Hons) Forestry.
JCECE 2025 was scheduled for 15 June 2025. Applications were accepted from 20 April through 20 May 2025. The exam is split into three subject groups — PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology). PCM/PCB contain 150 MCQs each, while PCMB includes 200 MCQs. Each correct response earns +1 mark and each incorrect response carries a -0.25 penalty.
Admit cards for JCECE 2025 were expected to be released in the second week of June 2025, just prior to the exam. The JCECEB planned to announce results in July 2025, followed by the counselling schedule beginning the same month.

Applicants must upload several documents in specified formats and sizes while filling the JCECE 2025 application. Following the stated specifications ensures a smooth submission process.
The JCECE 2025 application fee varied by category and chosen subject group.
JCECEB announced eligibility criteria detailing who may apply for undergraduate programmes in Jharkhand.
Educational qualifications, age limits and minimum required marks differ across courses.
The JCECEB was expected to issue the JCECE 2025 admit card in the second week of June 2025, a few days before the exam, via the official website.
Results for JCECE 2025 were anticipated in July 2025 on the official portal. A merit list would be prepared from exam scores, and category-wise lists would determine seat allotment eligibility.
JCECEB will publish the JCECE 2025 cutoff after the results. Based on past trends, BIT Sindri’s cutoff tends to be more competitive than GEC Palamu — for example, B.Tech CSE cutoffs ranged roughly from Rank 112 to 204, while branches like Electrical and Mechanical had mid-range cutoffs from about 498 to 865 in Round 3.
GEC Palamu typically shows higher cutoff ranks, with B.Tech CSE appearing around Rank 2131 in Round 3 and other branches like Electrical, Mechanical and Civil ranging between approximately Ranks 3167 and 3746.
Solving previous years’ questions is valuable; practising PYQs helps you get familiar with the exam pattern and improve preparation.
JCECEB expected counselling for 2025 to begin in July 2025, following the announcement of results and the merit list on the official website.
